finally graduated. =) okie don't say anything, i look like a pregnant pumpkin, but The Matriach's suit fits mine too. ha.

my final outing with dearest kimbo for 14 days. being all twitzies @ carrefour suntec

my dearest CCWA family. thanks so much for the wonderful farewell (for 2 weeks) gift. don't worry, i'll be devoted and read one every night. you guys are just amazing, the ability to give give give give.. just as Mabel places it "i almost feel like your real jie" .

likewise, i feel like you guys are my 2nd family, when we take photos, it's really "quan jia fu", not just that, we're such a myriad of personalities and qualities.. it's just like fried rice, if one ingredient is missing, the whole plate tastes like crap.

we all need each other and i need you guys too. i'll really miss you all when i'm in there, but no fret, the letters you guys wrote (haven't seen it yet FYI) will keep me company!

thanks to all the men *ahem* in the group for telling me the various ghost stories, what-to-bring, urban legends & BMT tales. i feel much more aware of what to expect.

it's 0436 and in 7 hours i gotta wake up for the graduation ceremony where i will don a graduation robe of orange and blue hues and become a impregnated pumpkin.

and in 36 hours time, i should be bald and in an island far away from yon friends.

so much to blog! so little time. gah. anyway, something that always cheers me up...

had lunch with korkor George (long long overdue!) @ Dr Greens @ The Centrepoint. it was really nice catching up with someone whom i've known for nearly a year under the most impossible circumstances. thanks for the NS advise and the shopping for essential NS clothing. hurhur.

last night after a whole evening of hiphop reharsals for SGH's Art festival tomorrow. i'll miss these luminous orange and yellow walls. ):

reflections aye. which brings me to my next ramble.

i'm looking back at my time spent before going into NS and i recollect the things i want to do and the things that i've done on impulse.

i can pretty much say that i've achieved my short term goals and the to-do list before i enlist.

1. i've met up with pretty much MOST (*cough*Mandy*Cough*Kok*cough*Yongmin) of my friends before i go in.
2. i've cleaned up my room and tied up the loose ends in CCWA & CJSOPA for my hiatus.
3. i'm still working on my university positions.
4. i'm trying my best to get over that friend (still)
5. i'm learning to accept circumstances beyond my control (i.e THIS NS)
6. i've learned to love myself alot more than anything else
7. i've shopped. a. freaking. hell. lot. and most of my stuff are not part of the GSS. -_-
8. i've went overseas and saw the brother (Adelaide!)
9. i've done charity work through performances!
10. i've done runway (not real runway but like, street fashion a gd start :D) wef TMR
11. i've done student photoshoots (thanks Miki & Elvis)
12. i've done hiphop performanceS (plural!)
13. i've done vocal performances wef TMR
14. i've learn to be more generous towards friends, close or not. it's always better to give than receive.
15. and to expect NOTHING in return. unconditional!
16. i've learnt to take cold showers! (Tekong ain't no holiday resort, no hot water)
17. i've eaten almost every fast food possible (abstinence of 2 weeks is hell)
18. i've given myself 3 conseceutive party nights with loads of booze to get it out of my system (for 2 weeks haha!)
19. i've settled my financial accounts for the first half of 2007 (gah overspending)
20. i've resumed using Photoshop! so cheers to black borders for all my friendster photos.

when i go into Tekong for the initial 3 weeks confinement, there will definitely be a culture shock for me, especially with my restricted freedom.

but if i can find (within my direct unit) anyone that are as friendly and loving as ANY of these people above. God, count me the luckiest baldie in the world.

will i find Weiyin's quirkyness, Mabel's Friendliness, Derricks Mambo-ness, Alarics laughter-ness, Jeremys royalhighness-ness, Jaysons Critique-ness, Daryls Welfare-ness, Aarons rambling-ness in my NS buddy or campmates?

i pray i do so. :)

also, kimbo's bimbo-ness, mandy's glam-ness, TSBF Leon's Open-ness, Kelly's hot-ness would also be tops in my list

the group decided to stay on at phuture whilst i decided to drop by Addie's Club and met up with Aviel before that lucky ass goes for a week long cruise (and a pit stop on wednesday BACK HERE before going to Penang. #%(@*) .

The last family dinner on a sunday before i come out for 2 weeks. i chose the place! very nice right! Thai Accent Resteraunt @ Vivocity. the food is GOOOOOD. i just love my very minute portion heritage of being the tom yum toy boy i am. Kangkong, Kailan, Pad Thai, Pork Ribs, Seafood Green Curry, Fried Thai Squid , Mango Salad. yummm!

*stares at weiyin & mabel and then proceeds to run 1.5hours on a treadmill* no need to say liao. i know what to do. but omg. mango sticky rice, crushed ice with red ruby jackfruit, sago ice. FWOAR. FEI SI WO LE.

a day out with Aviel / Mabel's 22nd Birthday!

so Aviel & I went to Ayam Penyat @ Lucky Plaza for some smash-fried(ladenwithcholestrol&fat) chicken.

keropok, mixed fruits ice, smash chicken, tau gua, bean cake and rice. thank God(?) for dragonboat & volleyball

HAPPY 22nd BIRTHDAY MABEL JIE :) mahjong nights, CBD running, teppanyakis, brekos, settlers, dragonboating, shopping, walking around chinatown, ben&jerries, shopping for WL's farewell party, sentosa... so many memories in a short span of 6 months. fwoar.
