Epilogue: Downunder before NS. Adelaide, SA ho!
greetings from down under, Adelaide, SA. :)
i intended to enjoy and be happy and make the best out of my final trip before National Service (will blog about that another time) . but a few things got me very worried and sleepless throughout the midnight flight.
one of my friends overseas has been hospitalized and placed on a respirator. and i did not know anything until i messaged him and someone else replied using his phone. boy was i and The Matriach shocked when i told her before boarding the plane.
dude: get well soon, weathers a bitch and so are other things. but as long as you're healthy and fine, everything's dandy (:
i also had a bout of indigestion before boarding, and that got me tossing and turning in the most limited and tight conditions of an economic class seat. sigh. so much for wanting to watch all the latest movies on board.

Yesterday marked my 1st DB training after 3 friggin weeks. Aside from the jibs from the many teammates for my sudden Saturday attendance, i loved the sun and the feeling of rowing. and even much more so when it's at a earlier time.
there's just something about the morning sun and being on a boat, slowly going with the flow of the waves.
we then proceeded to Sentosa for a short getaway, went to redeem my FIVB VIP bag (yay beach towels!) and played a round with yongzhi and his friends. what a close match! pity i couldn't play more with BFF faye & ernie. this saturday girls :)
the group also played silly but really enjoyable games like Dog & Bone, with each of us CAREFULLY looking non-chui throughout the game in case the photographer took a picture of us with our eyes big and mouth damn open. haha. chui-ness.
oh, not forgetting the very glam and artistic leg and hand movements of us whenever we caught a frisbee. call us art in motion. :D

i think i'll blog proper when i come back, am using the hotel's (surprisingly) free internet access. besides, as always, when there's a foreign place to visit, i'm usually there with a diary. and i do recall my previous trip to adelaide, i made it through about 10 pages of hotel paper penning down thoughts and feelings of you, us.
i looked at them right before i left, and i sighed.

so here's to 4 days of shopping, shopping, eating, shopping shopping, eating, beach-visiting, wind-blowing, lips-cracking, sweater-wearing, shades-donning, people-watching, racist-warying, shopping, under-sleeping, tabloid-reading, magazine-hunting, souvenir-buying, shopping days.
