well. here i
am!
not really sure how ur preparation for the army is coming along.
so
here's a list of things that u should bring along to the sunny isle of tekong.

[1] cash. coins. notes. $$.
try not to bring more than 20 bucks.
loose change would be fine. like $2/5 notes.
for the initial haircut.
and maybe future emart trips.
not forgetting coins!
i not sure whether
the vending machines are still allowed.
they are banned in my camp so im not
sure.
but still. its better to have some coins.
for drinks after
physical activities. or after a long day of training.

[2] clothes
hangers and pegs.
10 hangers and 20 pegs should be enough.
for the
hangers. try and standardize the color. [read:all same color!]

[3]
stationary.
get a marker for labeling ur stuff. and also some pens. in case
the one they provide with u is chui one. get a pencil. eraser. and ruler. just
in case.

[4] undies.
bring enough for around seven days? u wont want
to run out of clean underwear in the middle of the week.

[5] sleeping
attire.
try getting something comfortable to sleep in.
or u can be a
lazy chap like me.
keep a CLEAN set of admin and wear it to sleep.

[6] washing powder/detergent
get a small pack of either one for ur
washing.
cant possibly have 2 weeks supply of underwear do u?
and u do
need to wash ur pt kit once after u wear it.
unless u dont mind the smell.
if not. its better for u to get some washing done at night.

[7] lock
and key.
for ur cupboard. because ur gonna keep ur valuables in it.
if i
remember correctly. they'll provide u with one but just in case.
bring ur
own!
get one with keys. not too small tho.
if not cannot fit.
the
keys. one for u. one for ur buddy.

[8] febrezze. forget the spelling
le. -.-
its for ur clothes. in case u dint wash them properly or too lazy to
wash them.

[9] dehumidifier.
is it how u spell this? u know.
hungry hippo? lol.
get a small one for ur cupboard.
a frangance packet
would be nice also.
keep ur cupboard xiang xiang.

[10] ziploc
bags.
u'll find them in the army market. with sizes from small to large.
u will soon realise ur life revolves around those transparent bags.
small ones for ur personal belongings.
medium ones for ur writing
materials. i do remember this size is needed for the packing of ur fieldpack
items.
large ones for ur clothes. i mean. u gonna put them all in a bag
before bringin them home right? or just dump all ur smelly clothes in ur bag?
this size is also needed for packing of fieldpack items.
and there's the
xtra large ones.
unless u have big feet. u'll need this one for one of ur
fieldpack items. but personally for me. i use an extra large one to store dirty
clothes lah.
so its wise for u get some before enlisting. they'll come in
handy.

[11]* black tape. clear tape.
get them in a whole roll de.
cheaper. and saves u the trip to beach road. u'll need it.
get a roll of
clear tape also.

[12]* black rubber bands [big and small ones]
this
u'll get from the army market also. wont need to get alot lah. will come in
handy.

[13] toiletries
shampoo. not that u'll need much lah.
but well. got better than dont have. get a normal size one. u wont need much.
shower foam. for obvious reasons. detol would be nice. kills bacterial. lol.
this. i would suggest u buy the big bottle ones. u'll need it for 3 months.
unless u want to keep buying it.
facial wash.
wet tissue. good for
cleanin off the camo cream. (:
toothpaste + toothbrush.

[14]
specs.
its more advisable to wear them den contacts.
especially during
outfield and all.
u'll need it for outfield and range.
get a hook or
black ban for ur spects.
wont want ur spects to fall off during runs or
what.

[15] non camera hp and extra batt
u'll need a non camera hp.
and well. make sure its fully charged before going. u cant charge ur hp in camp.
so the charger stays at home.
and if ur a social butterfly. which i think
u'll need the extra batt for contacting the world. lol.

[16] snacks.
seriously. just buy what u like.
popular choices would be oreo and rice
crackers.
bring sweets also!
to eat during boring lectures.
bring
abit to share with ur friends lah. if u want to that is. lol.

and before
i forget.
remember to bring ur ic. ur pes status report. revalent documents
abt ur enlistment. remove all those ear studs. and u'll be all ready for ur isle
stay.

o ya one more thing. i do have a extra set of admin kit. the tee.
pt top. and admin shorts. its all brand new. never been wore. used it for my
cupboard display nia. large btw. so if u want it. drop me a msg eh.

o ya. those with a * u can dont need to get it first.
